Esmae

To the left, pictured on their honeymoon in South Africa, are Esmae and her husband Dennis Mackaaij. Shortly after starting work as a financial advisor, Esmae purchased her first Shar Pei, a red horsecoat female. Dennis joined the family in 2001.

They bred their first litter under the prefix So-Fi's Choice. Out of this litter came BIS BISS Multi CH. So-Fi's Choice To Have More Fun, who is affectionately called Justin. Dogs from their second litter are also being campaigned under their former European kennel name of So-Fi's Choice.

Esmae and her husband Dennis' honesty, integrity, love for the breed and passion for showing lead to visits back and forth between Europe and the USA. In 2009 it seemed perfectly natural for Esmae and Dennis to join the Jade East team and add their name and expertise to the Jade East Kennel.

While in Europe the dogs live with Esmae and Dennis in the kennel facility pictured on our site. They are responsible for the every day care of the Jade East dogs that are being campaigned in Europe.

Handling the Jade East dogs everywhere, including Europe, the USA, and South America is their passion.
